Buffalo, NY – Firefighters in Buffalo responded to a massive fire that broke out at an industrial site late Sunday night.
Fire crews battled the blaze all night before getting it under control just before dawn Monday morning. Officials say the fire started in some industrial buildings in Buffalo's Black Rock neighborhood.
The fire created thick black clouds of smoke that could be seen for miles in the clear blue skies. One of the warehouse-style buildings engulfed by the fire has partially collapsed.
"We have tremendous damage in the building where the fire broke out," Fire Commissioner Michael Lombardo said. "We did have a couple of explosions. It looks like there were some propane cylanders. That added fuel to the fire."
No injuries were reported. Officials say the cause of the fire is suspicious.
