Identifying Fake Documents

By Eileen Buckley

Grand Island, NY – Members of local law enforcement received a lesson in fraudulent documents this week. The State's Division of Criminal Justice Services sponsored a conference in Grand Island featuring an expert on document fraud.

Peter Ettinger is president of Document Security Systems. The company, headquartered in Rochester, provides information, safeguards and anti- counterfeiting technologies.

Ettinger was a key speaker at this week's conference. It was attended by members from local offices of the F-B-I, Immigration and secret service, as well as members of the Erie and Niagara County Sheriff's, Buffalo and Niagara Falls police, and other town police agencies. WBFO'S Eileen Buckley reports.
