Weather Channel Road Crew to Explore Summer in Buffalo

By Mark Scott

Buffalo, NY – The hottest weather of the summer is forecast for Tuesday in the Buffalo area. High temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90s.

The Weather Channel Road Crew will be arriving Tuesday to document the unusually hot weather for a national audience.

The Weather Channel has visited Buffalo often over the years. But most of the time, it was to report on the latest lake effect snow storm battering the region. As temperatures soar into the 90s Tuesday, members of the Weather Channel Road Crew will be arriving to highlight some of this region's summer-time activities.

Jeff Mielcarz heads up the Road Crew. He joined WBFO's Mark Scott on the phone Monday from Atlanta to talk about his upcoming visit. Click the "listen" icon above to hear their conversation now, or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
