Buffalo, NY – The University at Buffalo has its new vice president for research.
Dr. Jorge Jose is currently the chair in the department of Physics at Northeastern University in Boston. He is also the founding director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Complex Systems at Northeastern.
Jose says that UB is "quite a good university."
"One of the jobs of the vice president for research is to advertise to the world what's going on," Jose said. "There are a number of interesting things happening at the University at Buffalo. It's about getting everyone to know about it, including people with the university."
Jose starts his job as the University at Buffalo's vice president for research on August 1st.
