Buffalo, NY – Police in Buffalo say a seven-year-old boy was abducted from his school bus stop Thursday morning and later dropped off, apparently unharmed.
Authorities say a light-colored sport utility vehicle pulled up to the bus stop about a half block from Marquan Richardson's home. A man got out and put the boy in the vehicle about 8:45am.
As police and FBI agents conducted a frantic search, Marquan was dropped off about four miles away three hours later.
The boy was being taken to Women and Children's Hospital, where he was to be reunited with his mother.
The Associated Press says police were investigating reports that a ransom demand had been made during the ordeal.
