By Christopher Jamele

Buffalo, NY – The monthly almanac for November continues the chronicle of the Lewis and Clark Expedition 200 years ago. November 1804 marked the beginning of a five month break from traveling. A winter barracks is constructed in what is today North Dakota.

National American Indian Heritage Month is observed in November. It's Child Safety and Protection Month and Peanut Butter Lovers Month. November 13th is World Kindness Day.
