Buffalo, NY – In his 2003 State of the State address, Governor Pataki set a goal that 25 percent of the state's electricity would be generated from renewable energy sources. Since then, the state Public Service Commission has worked on a plan for implementing that goal. Wednesday night, the PSC held a hearing in Buffalo, seeking input from local residents.
Among those who turned out were representatives of the group Environmental Advocates. They've been vocal supporters of the Governor's proposal to increase the use of renewable energy sources in New York.
