Buffalo, NY – The Erie County Legislature continued its 2004 budget hearings Monday, reviewing allocations for area nonprofit organizations.
Not all applicants will receive county funding, and many applicants will be getting less than they hoped for. Budget officials say the distribution of $5.8 million for community agencies is largely based on results-based goals set by the county.
The County Legislature will present any revisions to County Executive Joel Giambra's budget proposal Wednesday morning. Final legislative approval of the budget is scheduled Friday.
