Buffalo, NY – A recently-completed study of health trends on Buffalo's Near East Side shows higher numbers of chronic diseases among African-Americans living there. These include heart disease, diabetes, lead poisoning and asthma.
WBFO, in partnership with WNED-AM 970, is presenting a five part series, "Wellness for All." In part one, WNED's Mike Mroziak takes a look at the study's findings, and talks with doctors who say the numbers don't have to be that high.
