Buffalo, NY – The city of Buffalo, Erie County and the Buffalo Bisons have agreed to a five year agreement for the maintenance of Dunn Tire Park.
The 14-year-old stadium is in need of repairs. Under the agreement, Erie County will provide $5 million for capital improvements.
The deal, which follows over two years of negotiations, lets the city keep ownership of the ballpark, while the Bisons will be in charge of its operations.
Formal approval of the agreement is still required from the County Legislature and the Common Council.
