Buffalo, NY – Last week, our media analyst Jim Wittebols was critical of Buffalo's public television station, WNED. Wittebols, a professor of communications studies at Niagara University, criticized WNED for dropping Bill Moyer's "Now," while continuing to present, in his words, "self-help gurus and retro music specials." Wittebols was also critical of last year's sale of Channel 23 to commercial interests.
