Chautauqua Institution, NY – Sister Joan Chittister is a nun with the Benedictine Order of the Roman Catholic Church. She's also a social psychologist, an international lecturer and the author of 20 plus books. She has a PhD from Penn State and serves with the Dalai Lama, Bishop Desmond Tutu and others on the International Committee of the Peace Council.
She'll be giving the morning address Monday as the Chautauqua Institution focuses on the theme, "Paths of Transformations."
