Spoken Arts: Writer Robert Gatewood

By Mary Van Vorst

Buffalo, NY – The book jacket of Robert Gatewood's new novel The Sound of the Trees says it's a "story of a boy's relationship with the steadfast natural world and man's mutable place within it -- and of love that endures despite malignant forces." For the author himself, it's a reflection of his own relationship to the landscape, and it's that Mary Van Vorst talks with him about on this edition of Spoken Arts. Click the listen link above!

You can hear Buffalo-native Robert Gatewood read from his new novel, Wednesday, June 19th at 7pm at Talking Leaves on Elmwood Avenue.
