Buffalo, NY – The name Genia Las may not be a familiar one to most Western New Yorkers. But the opera singer is known world wide for a career that spans nearly half a century.
At the annual arts awards banquet later this month, the Arts Council in Buffalo and Erie County will honor Genia Las with its individual artist award. Listen as WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Ms. Las about her life's accomplishments, passions and choices.
Ms. Las along with four other award winners will be honored at the annual awards banquet on Thursday, March 21st.
