Press Pass: How do you like your burger?

Who doesn't enjoy a juicy burger! The April issue of Buffalo Spree is all about the beloved hamburger. On this week's Press Pass, WBFO's Mark Scott is joined by Editor Elizabeth Licata about where to find a great burger.

This is not a top ten list. Elizabeth says Buffalo Spree writers visited a variety of restaurants and sampled burgers prepared with all sorts of ingredients. The are traditional, gourmet and alternative burgers. One of them isn't even a burger!

Mark and Elizabeth also talk about where the hamburger was first introduced. There's been a longtime claim that the first burger was served at the then Hamburg Fair in 1885. Elizabeth says there is credible archival evidence that it's valid.

Mark even shares where he enjoys his favorite burger.

Plus, Elizabeth previews the echo Art Fair scheduled for the second weekend in May at the old American Axle plant on Buffalo's East Side.

And the April issue launch party will be held Wednesday, March 23rd, 5:30pm at the Buffalo and Erie County Library downtown.
