There's apparently another political shakeup underway at the Erie County Water Authority. Membership among the three-people on the authority board tends to reflect the political mix in the county.
Commissioner Jack O'Donnell is on the outs with democratic headquarters and is tied into the faction led by former county chairman Steven Pigeon. His term is almost up and the six-democrats on the county legislature have decided to choose lawyer Christopher O'Brien to replace O'Donnell.
O'brien is pretty tight with new chairman Jeremy Zellner. Legislature chairwoman betty jean grant says it's tentative and could change.
Other legislators have until 11 a.m. Tuesday. January 19th to submit a name and there will be a vote of the full legislature on Thursday.
