Scorching hot temperatures didn't stop hundreds of Western New Yorkers from gathering in downtown Buffalo today for the Families Belong Together Rally. Protestors are speaking out against a policy that has been separating migrant families throughout the United States. It's part of a nationwide event today. The protests come a weekend after the Supreme Court upheld President Trump's travel ban. A U.S. District in San Diego passed a preliminary injunction last Tuesday that said children younger than 5 must be reunified within 14 days of the order. It orders U.S. immigration authorities to reunite separated families on the border within 30 days.
