Buffalo Diocese releases names of priests who allegedly abused minors

The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo has released a list of names of 42 diocesan priests who were removed from ministry, were retired, or left ministry after allegations of sexual abuse of a minor.

The list includes deceased priests with more than one allegation made against them. The year of death is listed next to those who are deceased.

Forty-two priests are named in the list, 25 of whom are deceased. A spokesman says the Diocese will not be conducting any recorded interviews Tuesday.
