College hockey star Jimmy Vesey has chosen to sign a contract with the New York Rangers. The Buffalo Sabres owned the rights to Vesey until August 16th, at which time he was free to sign with another team. The Sabres were hoping that the forward would want to play with fellow Boston native Jack Eichel.
Vesey, a Hobey Baker Award winner, signed an entry-level, 2-year contract.
