It is Firefighter's Day at the Erie County Fair. Free admission is being extended to all of the fire companies and individuals who responded to the enormous fire in Lockport this week. The blaze drew assistance from 40 local fire companies and more than 200 firefighters. Free passes for these units will be honored from today through the end of the fair on Sunday, August 21st.
Firefighter's Day has been a tradition at the fair since 1932.
