The cast and crew of "Marshall" are calling it a wrap in Buffalo. The film is about an early court case of Thurgood Marshall who became the first African-American on the U.S. Supreme Court. Scenes were shot over the past month at various locations including the former Dillon Federal Courthouse on Niagara Square. Director Reginald Hudlin says they were drawn to film here by all the historic preservation.

"The thing that wee discovered that we're so appreciative of is the incredibly friendly, open-armed spirit of every single person we've met here in Buffalo. What an amazing place, full of wonderful people."

Hudlin's credits include "Django Unchained," "House Party" and "Boomerang." The film stars Chadwick Boseman as Marshall, Kate Hudson and Josh Gad.

The production employed about 400 crew members, and it was expected to pump millions of dollars into the local economy.
