Political leaders visit local Buffalo church

Local politicians attended a Buffalo church on Sunday morning encouraging members of the congregation to vote in the Presidential Primary election on April 19.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown, Senator Tim Kennedy and Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples-Stokes sat on the front row of Friendship Baptist Church urging members to support Democrat Hillary Clinton. Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul also attended saying Clinton has been supportive of Buffalo and she strongly believes Buffalo will support Clinton.

On last Friday's visit to Buffalo, Clinton spoke at the Pierce Arrow Museum expressing her connection to Western New York and how she has been honored to watch Buffalo's transformation. Clinton's democratic rival Bernie Sanders will be in Buffalo to speak Monday night at University at Buffalo.
