A pool of state funds is being made available for conversions to solar energy. The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority is reallocating better than $6 million for residential and commercial solar projects. Qualifying projects must be a part of the NY-Sun Solar Megawatt block program.
The reallocation of the unused funds reflects the growing demand for solar energy in the state.
