A car accident on Saturday morning sent five people to the hospital.
A vehicle traveling at high speed on Tonawanda Creek road in Clarence hit a tree around 9:30 Saturday morning. The vehicle was carrying one male and four females all in their twenties. The driver and passengers were taken to Erie County Medical Center.
One was seriously wounded, another with semi-serious injuries and the other three suffered non-life threatening injuries.
