The company that operates Rural Metro Ambulance in Buffalo and across the country is being acquired by a subsidiary of Colorado-based Envision Healthcare. The deal will merge Rural Metro with another emergency services provider, American Medical Response.
The Wall Street Journal reports the purchase price is $620 million cash.
The deal is pending federal approval.
