The investigation is continuing into a Saturday morning hit-and-run accident in the Town of Boston. Police report that a 68-year-old woman was walking along Ward Road when she was struck by a car and thrown into a nearby ditch. She is reported to be in stable condition at ECMC. The dog that was with her died at the scene.
Investigators are looking for a maroon vehicle, possible a Ford Fusion, a Lincoln MKZ or a Mercury Zephur.
