The Buffalo Police Athletic League is hoping it will find a new site for its annual Gus Macker three-on-three basketball tournament this summer. The event has been a summer mainstay in Western New York for more than two decades. For the most part, the tournament was located in downtown Buffalo, though last year it was moved to Darien Lake. Now, it's being reported that the tournament may not take place this summer, due in part to a management change at the Genesee County amusement park.
Proceeds from the tournament have benefited the Buffalo Police Athletic League.
WBFO's Jay Moran spoke with BPAL Executive Director Modie Cox for the latest on what's happening with the tournament.
