Erie County Sheriff's deputies arrested two adults Friday afternoon after a pair of toddlers were spotted in a locked vehicle with no heat. Chaonte Townsend and Jovaun Campfield, both 22, were nabbed after returning to their truck outside the Rath Building. A substance thought to be marijuana was also found in the truck. The pair are facing a variety of charges, including Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Child Protective Services have taken custody of the toddlers.
