Garth Brooks concerts: What fans need to know

Courtesy of YouTube

County music legend Garth Brooks is appearing at First Niagara Center this weekend. The first of six concerts is set for Thursday night.  Traffic in the area of FNC is expected to be snarled, especially on Friday and Saturday when back to back concerts will mean people coming and going about the same time.

Officials with First Niagara Center have posted traffic information online for fans attending the concerts.

For both Friday and Saturday, the NFTA will have Park & Ride options available at the UB South Campus and LaSalle Street. Trains leaving both locations will drop riders off at the arena.  In addition, many parking lots along Main Street have access to the Metro Rail.  Additional trains will be running throughout the evening to accommodate fans.  Trains will run 90 minutes following the last show on Friday and Saturday.

Further information on is available here in regards to parking, cameras, prohibited items and what time the doors open.
