Buffalo food truck goes national

Lloyd Taco Truck will be featured at 10 p.m. on CNBC's "Restaurant Startup." Lloyd co-founder Peter Cimino says the show gives contestants a chance to attract investors as they seek to open a new restaurant.

Cimino said the Lloyd business model will compete against another potential startup. The winner will get much-needed investors for their business concept.

Win or lose (Cimino was not allowed to give the result), Lloyd will look to open a restaurant in Buffalo in the near future.

"We've had such great response in the community with our trucks. We figured the next logical step is to bring it inside so you guys can be sheltered from all the beautiful Buffalo weather," Cimino said.

Cimino and his partner, Chris Dorsaneo, will be holding a screening of tonight's show at the North Park Theatre.  The event begins at 9 p.m. with the show starting at 10 p.m. The public is welcome, but asked to RSVP via Facebook.
