After a cold, dry Tuesday, area drivers should be prepared to deal with difficult conditions. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory through 4 a.m. Thursday.The advisory covers most of the region, including Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Wyoming, Genesee, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.
The heaviest snow is expected to fall later Wednesday afternoon. Snow accumulations through Thursday morning could reach six inches.
Drivers should be prepared to encounter snow-covered and slippery roads.
