Icy roads caused problems for area drivers this weekend. A fatality resulted from a two-car crash in Niagara County. The identity of the victim has not yet been released. Conditions plagued the Buffalo Fire Department as a ladder truck slid on black ice and struck a utility pole after leaving a fire. And an 11 car pile-up on the eastbound Kensington Expressway injured two people and slowed traffic into the evening hours.
Most roads have been salted overnight, but conditions could still be problematic.
