Accumulations of six to ten inches of new snow fall is expected. Snowfall rates will be three inches per hour in the heaviest Lake Effect snows.

Strong winds will gust as high as 45-miles an hour late Thursday evening and into Friday morning.  This will produce blowing snow and create poor visibility, with near zero visibility on the roadways at times.

Due to the very heavy snowfall and blowing snow, forecasters are predicting the Friday morning commute. and travel may become nearly impossible in the heart of the Lake Effect snow band.

WBFO News will bring you complete coverage on the latest impact of the Lake snows Friday morning at 88.7 FM and on-line.
