Amherst police are seeking a person of interest in connection with the Monday stabbing of a security guard at the Boulevard Mall Macy's Store.
Police are interested in talking to talk to 18-year-old Maiya L. Marks of Buffalo regarding the incident.
The guard was taken to ECMC after being stabbed in the thigh. Officials say the injury was not life-threatening.
Anyone with information about Marks' whereabouts is asked to contact their local police department or Amherst Police at 689-1311.
