One Buffalo campaign aims to unite city

Buffalo Bills official Twitter Feed

While Bills fans may be disappointed in this weekend's loss to the New England Patriots, New Owners Terry and Kim Pegula are providing some hope for Buffalo Sports fans with the launch of a new effort to bring Western New Yorkers together.

"One Buffalo"is an effort to link Bills fans, Sabres fans and the City of Buffalo according to the website. Pegula Sports and Entertainment President and CEO Kim Pegula is quoted on the website as saying, "It is our goal to continue to contribute to the resurgence of Western New York, and we are very optimistic about the future. We are proud to be able to play a role in our city's redevelopment at a time when our community has never been closer together."

The One Buffalo campaign garnered a great deal of attention on social media, as fans snapped photos of the "One Buffalo" displayed in the stands at Ralph Wilson Stadium yesterday and posted pictures on Twitter, Facebook  and other outlets.

The One Buffalo campaign also handed out T-Shirts at yesterday's Bills game and is expected to hand out more T-shirts at today's Sabres game, as they continue their effort to promote "ONE TEAM; ONE GOAL; ONE COMMUNITY; ONE FAMILY; ONE BUFFALO."
