Bon Jovi letter draws criticism from Bills fans

A local group has been quick to respond to the hand of cooperation extended by prospective Buffalo Bills owner Jon Bon Jovi.

In a response to the letter the rocker published in Sunday's Buffalo News, the Buffalo Fan Alliance issued a letter saying that they were "skeptical" of the intentions of the Bon Jovi ownership group. The fan alliance called upon the group to agree to a binding pre-purchase agreement that would waive the seventh-year buyout clause in the Bills lease agreement with Erie County.

In his letter to the News, Bon Jovi said his group wants to see the Bills succeed in Buffalo, though he offered few specifics.
