The Buffalo Bills have announced that private funeral services for late team owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr. will be held in Detroit on Saturday. The Bills organization is formulating plans for a celebration and remembrance of the life and legacy of Mr. Wilson for staff, former players and coaches, and fans. They will be announced at a later date.
The Wilson family and Bills organization are thanking everyone who has offered condolences, support, kind words, and prayers following the passing of Wilson at age 95 on Tuesday.
The team has also announced that fans wishing to make a donation in honor of Mr. Wilson's memory are encouraged to do so at one of three charitable organizations: The Hospice Foundation of Western New York, The Alzheimer's Association Greater Michigan Chapter, and Saint John Hospital Medical Center in support of the Wilson Telemonitoring Program.
