Police in Batavia are searching for a man who is suspected in a series of robberies in that city. Authorities report that a man entered the Days Inn early this morning, brandishing a shotgun. He confronted the desk clerk and made off with an undetermined amount of money. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The suspect is described as a man of average height and weight, wearing a dark blue hoodie. At the time of the robbery, the man's face was covered by a bandana. This man is a suspect in previous robberies at a 7-Eleven store and the Best Western Inn in Oakfield.
