Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a fatal car accident that occurred overnight. A vehicle driven by 42-year-old James Brown of Salamanca veered off of the road along route 353. The vehicle struck a pair of trees before splitting into two pieces. Brown was taken to Lakeshore Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
Brown was the only occupant in the vehicle.
The investigation into the accident is continuing.
