Buffalo Sabres fans entering First Niagara Center will now face enhanced security screening.The team announced Monday that starting with Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings, all fans will be subject to screening using a hand-held wand. The magnetometers have been used on a limited basis since last season.
The Sabres say the expanded screened further complies with mandated league-wide security policies.
Fans attending games and events are encouraged to arrive early to avoid long lines at the gate.
