Seven people were injured Sunday afternoon when a high-speed police chase came to a crashing end in downtown Buffalo.
State Police say the chase began when the driver of an SUV refused to come to a requested halt at Niagara Square around 4:15 Sunday afternoon. The SUV crashed into two other vehicles minutes later at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Edward Street.
One suspect tried to flee the scene, but was apprehended with the help of another driver involved in the crash.
No charges have been filed, but police say the investigation is continuing.
