Saturday's saturating rains caused some minor and isolated flooding with one portion of Western New York receiving more than 3 inches of rain. A record amount of 2.79 inches of rain were recorded by the National Weather Service at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, shattering the previous mark of 1.49 inches. Even greater totals were recorded in West Seneca and Blasdell, but North Tonawanda topped the scales with 3.03 inches of precipitation.
There is no rain in the forecast for the next couple of days.
