According to Jim Fink of Business First, the development community is keeping tabs on the outcome of a land deal between the City of Niagara Falls and Mark Hamister. Fink says its the type of "dysfunctional" politics that has prevented the city from keeping up with the progress across the river at Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Fink compares the Niagara Falls situation with the "fast track" development of the Harbor Center, which was initiated only a year ago and now is in the midst of construction.

And Fink offers some hopeful thoughts on the 2013 prospects for the Buffalo Bills.
