At least one of Buffalo's historic grain elevators could soon be coming back to life. A local group of investors has plans to transform a silo near Ohio and Childs Streets into a recreational facility for rock climbers. Silo City Rocks will provide opportunities for indoor and outdoor climbing. The enormous space will also be populated by a yoga studio, a history center and other endeavors.

One investor, Jason Schwinger, claims that plans call for a soft opening on Memorial Day weekend.
