Preparations are being made by an anti-war protestor to sue a pair of Niagara Frontier Transportation officers. Nate Buckley was arrested in 2011 during a protest at Fountain Plaza in downtown Buffalo. Charges against Buckley were thrown out in Buffalo City court, and the arresting NFTA officers were harshly rebuked by the judge. Buckley has filed notice that he is suing for wrongful arrest and battery.
Officers Richard Russo and Adam Brodsky are the subjects of the lawsuit.
