Press Pass: Buffalo News' Bruce Andriatch on NY gun laws, Amherst hotel

Led by suburban Republican lawmakers last month, the Erie County Legislature passed a memorializing resolution that seeks repeal of New York's tough new gun law.  But Erie County was not alone. So far more, than two dozen county legislatures in upstate New York have passed similar bills in opposition to the gun law. Some seek outright repeal while other bills question the way the law was passed. Bruce Andriatch, suburban editor of The Buffalo News, was asked if the united front will force Governor Cuomo to at least listen, if not make changes to the law.

Also,  this week's Press Pass explores the controversy surrounding a proposed hotel in Amherst, a federal audit that seeks Erie County's return of $48 million to FEMA from October Surprise storm aid and the health of Tonawanda residents who live near the town's industrial plants.
