A lake effect snow warning will remain in effect for Western New York until 10 PM Saturday night. Snow fall rates could reach as high as 2 - 3 inches per hour at times. White-
out conditions are a possibility and slick roads will make travel slow. Heavy bands of lake effect snow moved through the metro Buffalo area in the morning hours and will be blanketing northern Erie and southern Niagara Counties.
Periods of intense snowfall could be prevalent throughout Western New York all day.
