The Buffalo City Mission served hundreds during the Thanksgiving Community Meal Tuesday. The City Mission was filled with hustling volunteers and diners as they celebrated their annual Thanksgiving meal, November 13. Nearly 280 of Buffalo’s poor and homeless residents were served meals of turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pie.
Dozens of caring Western New Yorkers volunteer their time to make the Thanksgiving Community Meal a reality.
The City Mission also has its Turkey Express Meal Reservation’s hotline open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 854-8181 ext. 419.
