New Buffalo Schools superintendent Pamela Brown is setting what she considers an aggressive graduation goal for local students.
The News reports that over the next 5 years, Brown wants to achieve an 80% graduation rate from public high schools. The current rate is approximately 50%.
To forward her efforts, Brown has appointed a community superintendent and is creating academic support teams to help guide schools.
