The reconstruction project on Lewiston Road in Niagara Falls will soon begin again.
A State Supreme Court Judge sided with the city in a lawsuit that idled the project. Contractor Man O'Trees filed suit against the city amongst many other parties, claiming that the reconstruction project was misrepresented and should have been a remediation project because of the levels of radioactive material found at the site.
The judge's ruling will allow the City Council to select a new contractor on Monday for the work to continue.
